The Raising Thought is a bronze sculpture that belongs to the “Urban Angels” series. It represents a woman in an inner state of reflection rising gracefully from a rubble of debris in an act of victory. Her figure shows grace, beauty and at the same time tension and struggle. The emphasis on the detailed work of her dress intends to lead the viewer’s attention to her head gently bent forward in an act of contemplation and meditation.
